Returns Policy

sciPAD Workbooks Australia Pty Ltd

This Returns Policy applies to all printed science workbooks supplied by sciPAD Workbooks Australia Pty Ltd within Australia.

This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).


Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • a replacement or refund for a major failure; and

  • compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If a workbook:

  • has a printing defect;

  • is damaged in transit;

  • is not of acceptable quality; or

  • does not match its description,

please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving the goods.

Where a failure is major, you may choose a refund or replacement.

Where a failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the workbook within a reasonable time.

Proof of purchase is required.


Change of Mind

sciPAD Workbooks Australia Pty Ltd does not provide refunds for change of mind.

Due to the nature of printed educational materials, returns will not be accepted where:

  • the workbook has been written in or marked;

  • pages have been removed;

  • the workbook has been used in a classroom;

  • the workbook is not in original saleable condition.

If a change of mind return is approved at our discretion:

  • the workbook must be unused and in original condition;

  • the request must be made within 14 days of delivery;

  • return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Damaged in Transit

If goods arrive damaged, notification must be made within 7 days of delivery. Photographic evidence may be requested.

Where required under the Australian Consumer Law, a replacement or refund will be provided.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

Shipping costs will only be refunded where required under the Australian Consumer Law.
